Mr Robert Bagyenda is supported and supervised by ITFC for his Phd at Mbarara University of Sciences and Technology, Faculty of Sciences. 

Mr Bagyenda is carrying out his PhD research fieldwork on: The effectiveness of Uganda’s wetland restoration prototype in enhancing ecological and social resilience to climate change in critical watersheds of S.W Uganda. 

Assoc. Prof. Robert Bitariho is supervising Mr Bagyenda for both fieldwork and his PhD dissertation write-up. Mr Bagyenda submitted his PhD concept paper (proposal) to MUST in February 2017 and began data collection in August 2017.
