Forest Governance And Community-Based Conservation Of Bamboo Forests; A Case Study Of Echuya Forest Reserve, South Western Uganda

Mr Stephen Gumisiriza is supported and supervised by ITFC for his Phd at Mbarara University of Sciences and Technology, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies. Mr Gumisiriza is carrying out his PhD research fieldwork on: Forest Governance and Community-Based Conservation of Bamboo Forests; a case study of Echuya Forest Reserve, South Western Uganda. 

Assoc. Prof. Robert Bitariho is supervising Mr Gumisiriza for both fieldwork and his PhD dissertation write-up. Mr Gumisiriza submitted his PhD concept paper (proposal) to MUST in January 2018 and began data collection in March 2018.
