The project “Sustaining and Strengthening Conservation Capacity by Anticipating and Preparing for Change in the Greater Virunga Landscape” has been successful in advancing the knowledge, capacity and preparedness required for long-term conservation in the Greater Virunga Landscape. The rich and unique natural heritage of the Albertine Rift has made it a focus for the MacArthur Foundation.
